GCode is Complicated
G-Wizard Makes it Easy

When I change the feed speed in G-Wizard, I just get a little padlock and the rpms don't change. Why is that?

The padlock shows that you have overridden something G-Wizard would normally calculate for you.  You can go back to letting G-Wizard calculate by clicking on the pad lock icon.

When fields are overridden, it limits the calculation of other fields too.  In particular, calculations only proceed “forward” and no “back” calculations are done.  So, you can override say the RPM Limit, and calculations go forward from there with that limit.  But since feedrate is one of the very last things calculated (not quite, there’s HP and MRR still left to do), it won’t go back and redo the RPM’s.
