When trying to upgrade the G-Wizard software I get an error:

“The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author.”

Sometimes when the two versions are far enough apart and we’ve just updated our Digital Signing Certificates on the software, you will see a message like that. Fortunately, the fix is easy.  Use the Windows Control Panel or Mac Move to Trash to uninstall the G-Wizard software.  Once it is uninstalled, the new version should go in without a problem.

Note: Sometimes you uninstall the application and you still get this message. Every time this has happened we’ve traced it to another copy of the application, sometimes on a backup disk that isn’t even mounted. So, you will need to be thorough about tracking down the old ones.
