what is first to setup?

what is first to setup, do i have to setup it with  my machine pc or can i use it on a pc desktop and then use my mach3 on cnc machine?

The order you install doesn’t really matter.  You can install on up to 2 machines per license.  I’d put it where it helps the most first.  If you are going to install on a couple of machines, I’d use the Shared Preferences feature so the two can share your settings.  It’s described here:
