Which CNC Controller Do You Use?
Every year about this time, we survey CNC Control use and report how the market has changed since the previous survey. Time for this year’s Control Survey!
First, when we say CNC Control, we mean the software/hardware combination that runs the control panel of your CNC machine and is responsible for making the machine respond to gcode (or whatever other code it can use). Some machines have a proprietary controller. Haas, for example, has a Haas controller. Others use a control made by a third party, such as Fanuc, LinuxCNC, or Mach3.
Help us out, take the survey, and we’ll let you know the popularity as well as something about how well liked each CNC controller is.
There are just a few questions so it won’t take you very long. I know you’re curious to see the relative market shares of the controls and learn a little about why each is popular or what people don’t like about their controls.
Thanks in advance for helping!
