Bonjour, Hola, Guten Tag, Konnichiwa, Ni Hao: Yup, We Got a Translator Widget
We get some 50 to 60 thousand visitors a month to CNCCookbook from all over the world. To date, the site has only been available in English. Still, dedicated non-English speaking readers have used translation services of various kinds to overcome the language barrier. We’re finally doing something to try to make it even easier. You’ll notice over on the left below the navigation bar, right below “About”, we have added the Google Translation Widget to the site. This makes it possible to see us in a variety of languages. It’s still a computer-based translation (sorry!) and therefore translations are crude, but hopefully it makes it a little easier for our international audience to catch what’s going on here.
It’s not available on every page yet, but we’ll be rolling it out steadily.
